Pothitu with Coconut Milk

Pothitu is a breakfast dish. It is best consumed with coconut milk.
Wheat Flour-5oo g
Grated coconut – 1 cup
Sugar – 100 g
Water – 2 cups
Salt to taste
  • Grind the grated coconut thoroughly with water.Filter the liquid and grind again till the coconut milk is extracted.
  • Add sugar to it and set it aside.
  • To make the Pothitu batter, add the wheat flour with water and salt and beat it into a batter.
  • Spread it like pancakes and cook on medium flame.
  • Have it with coconut milk.
Additional Tip:
1.Instead of wheat flour, maida can also be used.
2.For those who do not like sweet taste, it can be consumed with coconut chutney
