Kadimittu - Nutritional Snack

Ingredients:
Sooji – 500 gm
Sugar- 250 gm
Coconut (grated) – 2 cups
Ghee – 100 gm
Water as required
Salt as required
Procedure:
  • Fry the sooji in ghee till it becomes golden brown.
  • Fry the grated coconut in oil and keep it aside.
  • Mix the sooji and coconut with the other ingredients above to make a paste.
  • Mould the paste into small balls.
  • Cook them in steam using the normal idly cooker for twenty minutes.
  • Remove after 20 minutes and serve hot.
